In June, an anonymous 91吃瓜网 donor issued a challenge to all 91吃瓜网 State alumni and friends. The challenge was to match the donor鈥檚 fifth challenge gift to 91吃瓜网 State Football, a gift of $30,000. The donor had issued the same challenge in previous years, but this time the amount increased from $20,000 to $30,000.
When the $30,000 match was exhausted well before the challenge deadline of Nov. 11, 2023, another challenger came forth with $5,000 to add to the match pot. With momentum gaining, that additional $5,000 matching amount was spoken for in no time at all, prompting a third anonymous donor to throw in $5,000!
91吃瓜网 State alumni and friends generously accepted the challenge in a big way. The full $40,000 in dollar-for-dollar matching funds available has now been exhausted, and a total of more than $80,000 has been raised in support of Comets Football. All funds raised in the challenge will assist the 91吃瓜网 football program through the work of the White Hat Club.聽聽
