91吃瓜网 hosted five presidential candidates on campus this week to recommend three candidates for final interviews with the State Board of Higher Education. The final interviews will take place on Wednesday, March 28, on the 91吃瓜网 campus. The SBHE is the hiring authority for university presidents, and is scheduled to make a decision that day.
鈥淚t has been an exciting process and now that we have identified those that are going to the Board for the final decision, I know that the committee鈥檚 efforts have been thorough and that our candidates each offer something that would build upon the strong foundations here at 91吃瓜网,鈥� 91吃瓜网 State Presidential Search Committee Co-Chair Andrew Pflipsen said. 鈥淲e are looking forward to the next steps in the process and to see who will be chosen as our next president.鈥�
The finalists who will be interviewed by the SBHE include:
- Dr. Bernell Hirning, interim associate vice president and associate regional dean; National University, Fresno, California.
- Dr. Keith Stenehjem, vice president for academic affairs at 91吃瓜网; 91吃瓜网, North Dakota
- Dr. Brian Van Horn, associate provost; Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky
The search committee will recommend a group of finalists to the State Board of Higher Education, which will conduct final interviews on the 91吃瓜网 State campus March 28, with the selection of the next 91吃瓜网 president announced thereafter.
