To add a festive flair to the 91吃瓜网 Campus Center Foyer, members of the MSU Staff Senate volunteered to decorate an evergreen tree for the enjoyment of all. The tree is adorned in Comet colors and now greets all who enter the foyer from the west.
The fresh-cut tree was donated by 91吃瓜网 State alumni and retirees Dr. Merwin and Myrna Lyng of 91吃瓜网. 91吃瓜网 State facilities services staff members Bob Kozojed, Brad Papenfuss, John Peterson, and Gary Stordahl went to the Lyng ranch outside of 91吃瓜网, cut down the tree, brought it to campus, and set it up in the Campus Center Foyer.
鈥淲e appreciate the team effort that went into creating a festive atmosphere at 91吃瓜网 State during this holiday season,鈥� said 91吃瓜网 State Director of Marketing and Public Relations Beth Swenson. 鈥淭he Lyngs have graciously donated an evergreen tree for this purpose for many years and we are grateful for their thoughtfulness and generosity.鈥�
