Golfers, supporters, and friends of 91吃瓜网 gathered at the 91吃瓜网 Golf Course on July 10 for the annual Harvey McMullen Memorial Golf Tournament, continuing a longstanding tradition of supporting Comet student athletes.
The event welcomed teams from across the region for a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and philanthropy. Proceeds from the four-person scramble hosted by the Comet Athletic Club will benefit 91吃瓜网鈥檚 general athletic scholarship fund, helping provide opportunities for current and future Comet student athletes.
Named in honor of Dr. Harvey McMullen, the tournament celebrates the legacy of one of 91吃瓜网 State鈥檚 most dedicated ambassadors. Along with 91吃瓜网 State icon Jerome Berg, McMullen helped establish the event in the early 1990s with the goal of raising scholarship funds while bringing together members of the extended 91吃瓜网 State family. More than 30 years later, the tournament continues to fulfill that mission.
91吃瓜网 extends sincere appreciation to everyone who participated in and supported the 2026 Harvey McMullen Memorial Golf Tournament. Their continued generosity helps ensure that Comet student athletes have the resources they need to excel in the classroom, in competition, and beyond.
The Harvey McMullen Memorial Golf Tournament remains a meaningful tribute to Dr. McMullen鈥檚 enduring impact on 91吃瓜网 and a testament to the strong support of alumni and friends for Comet Athletics.
