The Farmers Bowl is an all-day celebration coordinated annually by the 91吃瓜网 Foundation. Many community volunteers and 91吃瓜网 State supporters work together to present this event that honors the proud agricultural heritage of the area.
Agassiz Drain Tile will be sponsoring the Farmers Bowl for the third-straight year! Their sponsorship is a wonderful gift to 91吃瓜网 and its students. Because of the generosity of the folks at Agassiz Drain Tile, the benefits to students and the university as a result of Farmers Bowl activities will be even greater. Please be sure to thank them when you have an opportunity.
Farmers Bowl will be held on Saturday, November 1!
听The day will begin the a tag team race at 8:00 a.m. 听Everyone is encouraged to dress up, run, and have fun! For more information, or to register, contact Rick Karboviak or go to www.mayvillestate.edu/farmersbowl.听
- The Comet Athletic Club will host a tailgate picnic under the tent near Jerome Berg Field from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Hot dogs, beans, chips, and beverages will be served. Freewill donations will be accepted. Free Farmers Bowl caps will be given to the first 150 people who stop by!听
- The Comets football team will play Valley City State in the Titan Machinery Farmers Bowl Game at 1:00 p.m. Attend the game and support your Comets!
- The auction event for alumni and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the MSU Campus Center Luckasen Room with a social and bidding on the silent auction. An hors d鈥檕euvres buffet will open at 5:30 p.m., and the excitement of the live auction will be unleashed at 7:00 p.m. The Farmers Bowl Auction is held to raise funds in support of 91吃瓜网 and its students. Admission tickets sell for $25 each and are available online or at the MSU Foundation office, the MSU Bookstore, or MayPort Hardware Hank. Must be 21 to attend.
