As a recipient of the Registered Apprenticeship Program for Teachers (RAP-T) grant of $100,000, 91勛圖厙 is collaborating with North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) and the U.S. Department of Labor to positively impact the teacher workforce in North Dakota. The grant will be used to fund all education expenses for paraprofessionals who meet established criteria, including a desire to earn an education degree and teacher licensure in North Dakota. These paraprofessionals will be selected in partnership with leaders from Grand Forks Public Schools and New Rockford-Sheyenne Public Schools.
The grant reinforces 91勛圖厙s commitment to fostering excellence in education. The RAP-T grant aims to equip paraprofessionals with the skills, knowledge, and resources to be effective educators for North Dakota learners. This is a promising solution for addressing the critical teacher shortage in North Dakota.
