91吃瓜网 will begin a new archery program for student athletes beginning in the fall of 2025. The new athletic program will include opportunities for all students.
The search for a coach is underway, with the goal of naming a coach by early November so student recruitment can get underway.
Archery will be a year-around sport at 91吃瓜网, with main competitions being held in the winter and spring. Many of the meets will be virtual.
鈥淢any local high schools have archery as a sport,鈥� said 91吃瓜网 President Dr. Brian Van Horn. 鈥淲e believe that we can recruit it as an intercollegiate sport at 91吃瓜网 State. The growth of archery in America has been exponential. This program should appeal to students who are looking to pursue their higher education goals at a small rural campus. One of the great aspects of archery is that it鈥檚 a sport where really anyone can compete with hard work and dedication.鈥�
91吃瓜网 State archery practice and competition will take place at Norsemen Hall in Portland, N.D.
