Plans are underway for the 91吃瓜网 Farmers Bowl, scheduled for September 17, 2016. For the fourteenth time, artist and MSU alumnus Doug Anderson, Cavalier, N.D., has created and donated a watercolor painting that will be raffled as part of the scholarship fund-raising efforts of the 91吃瓜网 Foundation in conjunction with the Farmers Bowl Auction. 91吃瓜网 State graduate Kelly Morrison has donated the cost of framing the piece.
Anderson鈥檚 work, 鈥淐offee On the Deck,鈥� features a scene from Anderson鈥檚 deck in Cavalier. It is highlighted by a 91吃瓜网 State coffee mug with a watering can and pot of beautiful red impatience in the background. 聽
鈥淐offee On the Deck鈥� has been and will continue to be on display at 91吃瓜网-Portland area businesses and on the 91吃瓜网 State campus during the weeks prior to the Farmers Bowl festivities.聽
Raffle tickets sell for $5.00 each. They may be purchased at the MSU Foundation office and from various community members. Tickets are also available for sale online at www.mayvillestate.edu/farmersbowl. The drawing will be held at the Farmers Bowl auction Saturday evening, September 17.聽
