Cast your vote at through Monday, March 17. The final four recipes will be selected Tuesday, March 18 and prepared and tasted by a panel of judges. The overall winner will be announced Wednesday, March 19 in the Sioux City Journal’s Food section.
Folks at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø State are hoping to win the Recipe Challenge for the second year in a row. Last year, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø State’s recipe for Comet Chocolate Chippers was the winner. Lisa Rakowski of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø has provided the recipe again this year. The cookies are a treat she’s sent with the women’s basketball team on several of their road trips throughout the season.
91³Ô¹ÏÍø State begins play in the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa Thursday, March 13, with a 10:15 a.m. game versus Cornerstone University of Michigan.
