In honor of Women鈥檚 History Month, a concert featuring music by all female composers will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the 91吃瓜网 Classroom Building Auditorium. The concert, consisting of music spanning more than four centuries, will showcase 91吃瓜网 students, the Drama Queens, and Callie (Berg) Stadem. Freewill donations to support 91吃瓜网 Music Department events will be taken at the door.
Callie Stadem is a composer, vocalist, and harpist. She is a native of Northwood, N.D., and will be graduating with a master鈥檚 degree in music composition from the University of North Dakota this spring. The Drama Queens (Joan Osland, Samantha DeLong, Teresa Agnes, Kathy Baldock, and Greta Paschke) are well-known in the 91吃瓜网-Portland community for their productions of all-female musicals such as 鈥淣unsense鈥� and 鈥淏eehive.鈥�
