Tables du Jour

Tables du Jour features elaborately decorated theme tables, brunch and a silent auction. This annual event is a fund-raiser for music at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø State.

Graduation Brunch 

The annual graduation brunch is sponsored by the MSU alumni Association. The brunch is considered the first official alumni event for the new graduates

MSU Football Alumni Golf Scramble 

The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø State football alumni and friends are invited to join in the fun at the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Golf Club the first Friday in June of each year. Food, prizes and refreshments!

MSU Golf Classic

The MSU Golf Classic is held annually on the second weekend in June. 91³Ô¹ÏÍø State alumni and friends from all across the country make Detroit Lakes, Minn. their destination on this weekend, not only to golf, but also to enjoy connecting with friends and acquaintances while supporting 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.

MSU Alumni Day & MSU Alumni Association Awards Dinner

The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Alumni Association hosts Alumni Day at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø on the fourth Friday in June each year, in conjunction with 91³Ô¹ÏÍø-Portland's annual Summerfest. Activities throughout the day include an open house and tours of facilities, as well as the annual Alumni Association Awards Dinner and a musical variety show. All activities are open to the public.

Harvey McMullen Open Golf Tournament

The Comet Athletic Club Harvey McMullen Open Golf Tournament is held to raise funds for 91³Ô¹ÏÍø State's general athletic scholarship fund.

Lake Region Golf Scramble

The Lake Region Golf Scramble is held to raise funds awarded in the form of scholarships to students from the Devils Lake (N.D.) region who attend 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.

Comets Baseball Around the Horn Golf Classic

The Comets Baseball Around the Horn Golf Classic is a fundraiser held to help provide support for the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Comets baseball program.

Comet Athletic Club Sportsmen's Raffle 

The Sportsmen's Raffle is held to raise funds for athletic scholarships at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø. The main event is the raffle of guns in which ticket holders have a one-in-ten chance of winning.

Comet Athletic Club Farmers Bowl Athlete Feed 

The Comet Athletic Club holds this event annually on the Thursday before Farmers Bowl. The purpose is to treat 91³Ô¹ÏÍø State's student athletes to a meal and to given them and their parents an opportunity to meet the Comet boosters.

Farmers Bowl 

The Farmers Bowl, sponsored annually by the MSU Foundation, teams 91³Ô¹ÏÍø with the community in a festival celebrating the area's agricultural way of life. Activities include a parade, corn on the cob and hot dog feed, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø State Comets football game and a fund-raising auction.

Homecoming

The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø State Alumni Association's annual homecoming festivities include the Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner, Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame Luncheon, Comets football game and a variety of socials and other activities.

Scholarship Recipient Brunch

Scholarship recipients are the guests of honor at the MSU Foundation Scholarship Recipient Brunch. Parents and scholarship benefactors are also invited to join in honoring the scholarship recipients.

MSU Foundation Honor Society President's Dinner

The MSU Foundation and the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø president host this annual event to honor members of the Honor Society, donors who have given a minimum cumulative total of $10,000 or more to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.

Poinsettia Ball 

The Poinsettia Ball will be held for the third time in 2014. The gala event, featuring the music of the fabulous Downtown Horns, provides a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season.

Traill County/MSU Luncheon in Arizona

Current and former residents of Traill County, as well as 91³Ô¹ÏÍø alumni and friends, gather each year in Mesa to renew acquaintances and make new friends. Activities include lunch and a message from a keynote speaker. The luncheon is held the second Tuesday in February.

Comet Athletic Club 3 on 3 Basketball Tournaments 

The Comet Athletic Club sponsors annual tournaments for elementary-, junior high- and high school-age girls and boys. The tournament is held as a fund-raiser for athletics at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø State.
