Why did you choose to attend 91吃瓜网?
I chose to attend 91吃瓜网 because I felt like it was the perfect place where I could experience something new. So far, choosing 91吃瓜网 State has been one of my best personal decisions.
What do you like best about the major you鈥檙e pursuing?
The best thing about my major is that it gives me the opportunity to start something new and make an impact in the world.
What do you like best about 91吃瓜网 State in general?
I love the family atmosphere.
Do you participate in any activities related to your major/minor? Internships? Work Study? Other?
I have work study experience and I also participate in organizations like DECA, Cometeers, Larson Leadership, and Peer Leaders. I鈥檓 also an RA.
Have you had any unique opportunities, in or out of the classroom, while you鈥檝e been enrolled at 91吃瓜网 State?
I spent my spring break of 2015 on a Pay It Forward Tour volunteering with several members of the Cometeer Club and about 32 people from NDSU鈥檚 STLF program that I didn鈥檛 know anything about. On that trip, I opened up and shared more with people I had known for nine days than I had with people that I have known all my life.
What MSU clubs, organizations, or athletic activities to you participate in?
Football, band, Afrikan History Club, Cometeer Club, DECA, Student Senate, Peer Leaders, Larson Leadership, RA
How have these activities enhanced your college experience?
These activities have enhanced my college experience by allowing me to step out of my comfort zone from time to time and see what it鈥檚 like.
What has been your greatest moment as a 91吃瓜网 State student?
The moments I cherish the most as a student here at 91吃瓜网 State are the ones that enable me learn more about my peers.
What does personal service mean to you?
To me, personal service means helping people because you genuinely want to, not because you want something in return.
What are your plans after graduating from 91吃瓜网 State?
After graduating from 91吃瓜网, I plan on pursuing a master鈥檚 degree and a Ph.D. while studying in other countries.
