Meghan Foy is a senior from Grand Forks, N.D. Her major is Elementary Education and she’s pursuing a minor in Special Education. Meghan is involved with Student Education Association (S.E.A.) and Student Alumni Ambassadors, and she has served as a Peer Leader on campus. Her future plans include staying in North Dakota to teach within the younger grade levels (kindergarten- 2nd grade). Meghan loves the 91Թ State community. She says, “You get to meet people, get to know them, and build lifelong friendships. Class sizes are small which helps with learning and building connections with your professors and classmates.” She counts an opportunity to travel to Bismarck with the 91Թ State S.E.A. officers and Professor Kelli Odden a few years ago among her favorite 91Թ State memories. While there, they spoke at the Professional Growth Institute. Kelli Odden is Meghan’s 91Թ State mentor because “she really builds connections and relationships with her students.” Meghan is eager to share all she has learned in her 91Թ State classes with her future students.
